My Favorite Christmas

Happy Holidays everyone!

For many years Christmas was one of my favorite holidays until I became an adult and realized that I didn't get as many presents as I use to. Sounds bad but I enjoyed getting gifts. But then I realized that I couldn't take my family vacations to Mississippi anymore because I became an adult and had to work. This ruined my Christmas spirit for 2 years. But now that I have grown up and got to experience giving back to families that are less fortunate it has become my favorite part of the holiday!

To put a smile on someone else's face and to see other kids excited about opening up their presents is truly a blessing! I realize that getting into the holiday spirit is really about giving and spending time just enjoying your family and being grateful for all that you have. To me that is the best Christmas. The saying is it is better to give than to receive. I hope this year you have took some time to be grateful for what you have as well as give back to others who are struggling during the holiday season!
