The past month has been and up and down roller coaster for me. I've been known to suffer from seasonal depression but I try not to claim this kind of behavior on myself. I know what it feels like to be at a low point and I know what I have to do to pull myself out of it. I'm not in that place anymore but when you hit it you have to learn how to admit how you feel and steps to get yourself out of it .
The first step for me is to always remember the good things in life. Count the little things. When I look at the fact that I actually have a schedule for the day, to get up meditate , relax and go to work THAT'S A BLESSING! I am able to do these things in the comfort of my own home. That's something I can be grateful for! There in the very second of expressing my gratitude I can begin to feel what it feels like to be in bliss. Remembering how you want to feel will set you up to want to do better. You're not in that dreadful place anymore God is taking you somewhere else.
I believe it's always ok to feel your way through. You can always use the way you feel as motivation to push through that depressing cycle. You have to move forward and want to feel better. You need to do better! You're going forward! What does bliss look like to you?
