God's Amongst Men

Cheers to happy reading! What I have learned with reading new books is that not all the time you will agree with what the author is saying, yet it's good to hear other people's opinions. This was one of those books where I agreed but sometimes I would disagree.

My book highlight of this month is God Amongst Men, 365 Routes to Supreme Being by Derrick D Grace II. This book fed me with so much wisdom and power for myself and my culture. A lot of the things I could relate to such as going to work 40 hours a week for somebody else and then not working on my own dreams. I believe that is the easiest way to failure. By simply not investing time and money into your own business. Also I love the positive aspect of creating affirmations for yourself and valuing yourself as Kings and Queens.

I'll give you the scoop on some of the parts that I didn't understand or didn't agree on. "You all love the magic man, but won't pull over to help the humans having car trouble, won't break your sleep to volunteer, or turn a blind eye to the injustices taking place in everyday life". In the book he talks alot the "Magic Man" which I'm assuming he speaks about God or Jesus. I can respect his opinion however I simply believe it's faith based and I think he respects the opinions of others as well.
